Acts isn't just a club. It's a community. Acts is the official non-denominational Christian organization of Pisay Main. Here in Acts, we do our best to provide you with: a space to be yourself yet open to growth; opportunities to take a break from all the stress and learn how to cope in healthy ways; and a platform to discuss faith questions and see the world from a Christian perspective, all for the purpose of knowing God and making Him known. Come join us and be a part of our family as we journey through life together.

Bake Club

Official baking club of PSHS-MC.

Our members will be able to learn about the principles of baking, study different recipes, and participate in hands-on baking sessions. The goal of the club is to show everyone that baking is not as intimidating as it seems. It doesn't matter if you're an experienced baker or not. At the end of the day, we're all here to learn and have fun!

Cuerdas Agham

Cuerdas Agham envisions itself as a community dedicated to nurturing students' passion for music. Amidst an academic environment emphasizing STEM-related subjects, Cuerdas Agham offers a safe space at Philippine Science High School-Main Campus, where students can freely explore Rondalla instruments and create music. Our aim is to inspire young minds to appreciate and actively engage in music-making by providing essential instruments, a conducive space, and knowledgeable teachers. Through this, we hope to ignite a deep passion for music and foster strong bonds of friendship among the members of Cuerdas Agham.

Alyabo

Arnis club of PSHS-MC.

We are Alyabo, PSHS-MC's official martial arts club for Arnis. We express our nationalism and continue the tradition of arnis for future generations by conducting training sessions and lessons. Members of all skill levels are accepted.

Exposure

Official photography and videography club of PSHS-MC

In Exposure, we aim to see Pisay through new perspectives and to document events and the memories that come with it. Throughout the year, you will learn more about the different aspects of photography such as composition, contrast, and perspective. You will also learn about the technical side of things such as how to use a real camera and how to achieve those effects with a phone camera. We apply all of these in weekly challenges and photowalks around the campus.

Kaizen

"Alam mo ba yung Kaizen? Established in SY 2022-2023, Kaizen is the official Fighting Game Club of PSHS-MC. We aim to maintain a competitive environment and safe space for member of the Fighting Game Community in the school, whether you are a beginner still learning the ropes or an experienced veteran. We do practice sessions and occasionally host tournaments where members of the club can test their skills against their peers. Finally, Kaizen hopes to ignite the interest of students in the FGC and its competitive spirit, and now alam mo na yung Kaizen! "

Digital and Visual Arts Club

Likha is the official Digital and Visual Arts Club of PSHS-MC. Here in Likha, you will be able to express yourself through art in whatever medium and to meet other artists where we can learn various skills and techniques from each other! Likha offers weekly drawing sessions to regularly hone our artistic skills. And, we also host art activities, workshops, and art sales with other students and teachers! But remember, Likha is more than just a place for people to draw—it is a place where people can freely express themselves.

Pallastro

We are Pallastro, the men's basketball club of Pisay! We train our basketball skills with dribbling, shooting, and five-on-five sets. There's more! We plan to participate in minor inter-school scrimmages, so watch out for future updates! PSHS-MC Model United Nations

Official youth diplomacy and international relations organization of PSHS-MC.

Established in 2021, PSHS-MC MUN is a young and dynamic Model UN organization that aims to foster awareness of diplomacy, international relations, and global issues within the Pisay community. The club primarily nurtures potential delegates' talents through regular and intensive training in topic research, position paper writing, speech preparation, and resolution drafting. Such skills are used when members partake in MUN conferences, in which they get to discuss resolutions to prevalent international problems in committees composed of fellow youth delegates. PSHS-MC MUN has already received several accolades, such as Best Position Papers and Outstanding Delegation recognitions, from several MUN conferences and aims to garner more in the upcoming school year.

Physics Youth Honour Society (PYHS)

The Physics Youth Honor Society, despite its quite intimidating name, is actually composed of students who are genuinely fascinated with Physics and are motivated to share their acquired knowledge to people within and beyond the PSHS-MC community through fun and relatable events. Our group collaboratively brainstorms ways on how to share the enthusiasm and passion we have for the subject in our activities like experiments and workshops, or our simple kwentuhan sessions and club meetings!

Student Catholic Assnociation (SCA)

SCA is a Catholic organization in PSHS-MC dedicated to enriching the spiritual lives of its members, and of the Pisay Community

The Student Catholic Association is dedicated to enriching the spiritual lives of our members by encouraging them to love and serve God in their daily lives by upholding the teachings of the Catholic Church, and by practicing the virtues of Prudence, Justice, Temperance, Fortitude, Faith, Hope, & Charity. We hold regular group discussions, Holy Masses, and hangout sessions to help our members grow and develop individually in faith, fun, and friendship under God's grace.

Youth Venture Society is the official entrepreneurship club of PSHS-MC.

Youth Venture Society (YVS) is an entrepreneurship club created for and by aspiring entrepreneurs, idealists, and business enthusiasts. YVS aims to ignite scholars' entrepreneurial mindset, creating a culture and way of thinking that embraces their creativity, adaptability, curiosity, and discipline. YVS will enhance the following skills of its members: (1) creation of new business plans and products, (2) understanding of marketing and advertising strategies, (3) establishing a recognizable brand, and (4) navigating the ins and outs of finance and business.

Alianti

Official Ultimate Frisbee Club of PSHS-MC.

Alianti is a club that serves as a perfect place for students who aspire to learn more and improve in the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. The club has won various championships, locally and internationally, and has produced well-known national frisbee players. Activities such as intense scrimmages and fun learning sessions await those who dare to join. Whether you're just a beginner or an experienced athlete in Ultimate Frisbee, as long as you are passionate and put in your utmost effort in training, you are welcome! Train alongside other eager student-athletes to get a chance to represent Pisay and the Philippines in national and international tournaments.

Society for the Advancement of Research in Science and Technology

The SARS+ (Society for the Advancement of Research in Science and Technology) club aims to make research more fun! It is Pisay's frontier of innovation towards the development of a community with an appreciation for science and its communication, and a drive to bring the scientific community closer to the people. With activities such as workshops, seminars, and field trips, the club wishes to inspire interest in STEM research and communication within members of the PSHS-MC community.

Concern and Action for the Rehabilitation of the Environment

Environmental Club

CARE is the official environmental club of PSHS-MC. For over 30 years, we've been on a mission to spread awareness and educate the youth about the current environmental status primarily of the country. Through different student-facilitated activities, club members become more aware of environmental issues firsthand and explore measures that they can take, as students, to help alleviate the consequences of these issues. Our club has taken the lead in environmental activities such as coastal cleanups, cleanliness campaigns, climate change talks, and the use of GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) protocols.

Ellipsis is a Literature Club that strives to broaden the horizons of its members and introduce them to a wide range of media in writing. This includes poetry, games, visual novels and the like. The club has a history of publishing compilations of student made works and aids in the flourishing of one's passion in both reading and writing.

Invictus

Official public speaking and debate of PSHS-MC.

Home to 2x national championships and many more accolades, Invictus is PSHS-MC's official speech and debate club. The club's goal is to give PSHS scholars a platform to develop their critical thinking skills and public speaking skills through debates and discourse, in the hopes that they can apply these virtues in their scholarly studies. The club regularly holds training sessions through thinking drills and round sparring sessions for its members, and annually holds events such as Pisay Debate Open that aims to introduce the world of debate and public speaking to the members of the PSHS community.d

Kislap

Official volleyball club of PSHS-MC.

Driven by the spirit of camaraderie, Kislap aims to create an environment where students can express their love for volleyball with sportsmanship in mind and forge lasting friendships. The club's slogan, "Stay Low," emphasizes its high regard to humility in times of excellence and development. Every school year, the club undergoes weekly trainings to improve its members' basic and advanced skills in volleyball. The members get to play exciting and joyful matches against other students and even teachers and staff to relieve stress at the end of the day.

Official foreign language learning and linguistics club of PSHS-MC

Loqui is the official foreign language learning and linguistics club of PSHS-MC, tailored for the citizen of the world within all of us. We aim to cultivate a greater appreciation of the world's languages, and further enhance your personal learning adventure. Our activities blend the casual and formal approaches to language learning, ranging from games and watch parties to language exchanges, discussions, and mini-courses. We primarily cover Latin, Spanish, Japanese, and German.

Pendulum, the official PSHS-MC Table Tennis Club, aims to provide students a safe and fun platform to learn and excel in table tennis. With a mission to foster camaraderie and appreciation for the sport, training sessions are held weekly as well as quarterly tournaments open for the whole campus. If you're looking for a place to get started or maximize your potential in this enjoyable and straightforward sport, then this is the club for you.

SAMAPI, which stands for "Samahan ng mga Manunugtog ng Pisay," is the official band music club of PSHS-MC, with a rich history dating back to the 80s and 90s. We hold jamming sessions, kwentuhan sessions ft. local musicians, perform at school events, and more!

The club's goal is to be able to produce quality swimmers who can swim confidently for fun, exercise, or competition, and can explore and excel in other water sports. This club aspires to represent the school in various water sports competitions and make a name in this field.

Sigasig

Taekwondo Club

Sigasig, PSHS-MC's official sports club dedicated to the martial art of Taekwondo, is open for any and all students to join and participate. As a club, we aim to expose our members to the art of Taekwondo, as both a sport and a discipline. We plan to do this through group training sessions, practice sparring among members, and other activities that will allow members to fully learn and experience the martial art.

Volant

Official Badminton club of PSHS-MC.

Volant is now back from it's slumber, and is now revived and officially reaccredited for SY23-24! Now being led by a new group of passionate students and the badminton loving math teacher Sir. Mardan Llanura, Volant hopes to unify the badminton lovers of Pisay. Volant also aims to create an active badminton community that upholds sportsmanship, healthy living, and development of skills.

Aksyon Iskolar (AKSIS)

Aksyon Iskolar, or AKSIS, is the official social action club of PSHS-MC. Our main goal is to promote, develop, and inspire social awareness and action in the student body of our school. AKSIS implements projects that aim to open the eyes of our schoolmates and fellow youth to the events and issues in our country in line with our duty as scholars of the nation to serve the people. PSHS Astronomical Society

Official astronomy club of PSHS-MC

AstroSoc aims to promote and educate the PSHS-MC community on concepts and ideas elating to astronomy and other Earth science-related topics. The club hosts activities such as observations using different telescopes, experiments, discussions, and online information campaigns. Outside of club hours, the club also hosts night observations for various astronomical events throughout the school year.

Bravura

Official symphonic ensemble club of PSHS–MC.

Throughout its many reincarnations, Bravura has sought to expand the musical horizons of PSHS–MC, showcasing a wide variety of music from the classics all the way to the popular music of the day. Its members of all backgrounds and skill levels constitute the official Symphony Orchestra of PSHS–MC, the first of its kind across all the campuses. There, they learn new instruments, practice new pieces, and develop skills vital to becoming effective musicians and well-rounded science scholars. In all, its members contribute to the life of the Pisay community by honing and developing their skills at musical artistry, expression, and craft, and using these to enliven and add to the music scene at PSHS–MC.

Computron

Computer Science & Information Technology (CSIT) Club

Long-established before its 2014 and 2022 revivals, Computron has been on a mission to foster interest, enhance knowledge, and provide assistance on computer tech, in line with the school’s principles of truth, excellence, and service. As members of the club, students become aware of the importance of matters such as tech literacy and technological trends and are encouraged to help and ask for help with academic work pertaining to the school’s Computer Science course. They are also given the opportunity to explore, learn, and spread information on various CSIT trends and fields that may cultivate in them a passion for STEM or a desire to pursue a career in that area of technology. However, the club remains a club and not a class—Computron members can expect fun and close-knit feels in every meeting as they break away from rigid academics and bond over simple game development, literal sandwich-making instructions, and grass-touching scavenger hunts. Through these hands-on activities and other games, presentations, and workshops, members gain knowledge on CSIT while also developing their creativity and critical thinking.

Himig Agham

Himig Agham is open to all students who are interested in improving their skills in singing. Whether through leading the hymns during weekly flag ceremonies, or preparing special performances for major school events, Himig will be there to showcase our love for singing and share it with the community.

Polvere aims to foster camaraderie and other related soft skills among its members by helping each other improve in shooting games and have a fun time while doing it.

SaGala is centralized around the passion for dance and the ambition to cultivate knowledge on the art. Rigorous training sessions give way for the members to hone their own skills while frequent performances at schoolwide events allow them to expose themselves and showcase their talents; however, beyond the stage, SaGala is a community and a family. The club members are constantly pushed towards improvement and provide inspiration for others to do the same. SaGala acts as an avenue for growth, a beacon of creativity, and a pillar of support—a tightly-knit network of dancers with different styles always there for one another.

The members are passionate in all aspects of the performing arts, be it singing, acting, dancing, or managing performances behind the scenes. Sightlines aims to cultivate existing talents, unlock hidden potential, and see them in action through various plays and stand-alone performances shared with the PSHS-MC Community.

Silakbo

In such a male dominated sport, Silakbo aims to unite and empower women whose interests include basketball. Our sessions feature: workouts for those who want to improve their endurance, aim, and movement skills; matches against other club members, interested teachers, and staff; and sometimes pizza parties for special occasions. Aside from our goals to improve one's physical state, we hope to help others improve their mood and mental health through exercise. Over the years, we were able to bring more female representation into the sports industry through contests and events, and we hope to do that again this school year.
